What Tokens are

Tokens are Pecheca's paid in-game currency. You buy them in packages with real money and spend them in the game and in the player shop on this website.

A package of Tokens or Pings is the only thing Pecheca sells for real money. There is no subscription, and nothing renews by itself.

What Pings are

Pings are the credits for the chat with characters. Each message you send costs Pings: 1 per message. If the system cannot answer, the Pings come back to you.

A message that asks for something our rules forbid is refused, and the character says so in its own voice. Up to 3 times a day, the Pings for such a message come back to you.

We offer the chat only while it is switched on, and we sell Pings only during that time. The shop may also offer Pings for Tokens.

The packages

Packages are priced in US dollars, and the checkout shows the price before you pay. After you sign in, the Buy page lists every package on sale.

What Tokens buy

In the game and in the player shop, Tokens buy:

• characters;
• clips (animations) for the characters you own;
• special offers;
• Current, one of the game's in-game currencies;
• Pings and chat-memory upgrades, while the character chat is open.

A purchase with Tokens gives you exactly the item you chose, or nothing. Your Tokens are taken only when the item is added to your account, at the price shown when you started the purchase.

How a purchase works

1. Sign in on this website and choose a package. A purchase you start in the game is finished in your web browser.
2. The checkout shows the package, its price in US dollars, the seller and how the charge will appear on your card statement. You confirm that you may use the card you pay with and that you agree to our Terms of Use.
3. You enter your card details in the secure payment form of our payment processor. We never receive your card number.
4. Your Tokens or Pings are added to your account as soon as the payment processor confirms the payment. The confirmation page waits about two minutes for that; if the confirmation has not arrived by then, check the Transactions page of your account later.

A purchase that is not completed within ten minutes of being started is cancelled, nothing is charged, and you are told so on screen. Every purchase is listed on the Transactions page of your account with its status: Completed, Pending, Expired, Voided, Refunded or Partially refunded.

What you see on your statement

Before you pay, the checkout shows the name under which the charge will appear on your card statement. The seller is MediaSensu LLC.

Refunds

All purchases are final, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. If you were charged but nothing was added to your account, or you were charged twice, tell us and we will look into it. Refunds are decided by our staff and made through our payment processor. For card payments, ask within 120 days of the purchase, or within the card network's chargeback window if that is shorter.

When a package is refunded or charged back, the Tokens or Pings it added are taken off your balance. Our Refund Policy has the details.

Things Tokens cannot do

• Tokens and Pings have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• They cannot be transferred to another account, given as a gift or sold.
• They do not expire while your account exists, but they are lost when your account is deleted.

Random rewards

No purchase made with Tokens has a random outcome: you get exactly the item you chose.

The game has a gacha that draws random in-game rewards. You pull it with tickets, which you buy only with the in-game currencies you earn by playing: Charge, CPU and Current. No ticket is ever sold for Tokens. You also get one free Common pull every day. Because Current can also be bought with Tokens, you can choose to pay for Epic and Legendary tickets with Current bought that way.

The gacha gives in-game items only. It never gives money, prizes or anything with a cash value.

Taxes

Depending on where you live, sales tax, VAT or a similar tax may be included in, or added to, the price of a package.

Pecheca is run by MediaSensu LLC. If a purchase went wrong, write to us through our contact form, giving the e-mail address of your account, or open a ticket at the support desk of your account under the topic “Purchase”. Tell us the date, the item and the amount of the purchase as your Transactions page shows them.
