Pecheca is only for adults: people aged 18 or over, or the age of majority where they live if that is higher.

Before any explicit content

The pages anyone can open without an account (the home page, the About pages and the legal pages) show no sexually explicit material. Sexually explicit content is shown only after you sign in to your account.

The age gate

Before the home page shows anything, it asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and that viewing adult material is legal there. You choose Enter or Leave. A cookie remembers your choice on your device for one year.

The age gate is a self-declaration.

Your account

To create an account, you must tick the box “I am 18 or older, and I agree to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice”. When you sign up, our server reads the place you are signing up from out of your IP address, as set out below. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and delete its data.

Age verification

Where the law of the place you sign up from asks for an age check, the sign-up page tells you so, and your account opens only after you pass one, which you take right after confirming your e-mail address. Until you pass, signing in to the game or to this website asks you to finish the check. An attempt that fails or runs out keeps nothing, and you can start again. Once you pass, the check holds for the life of your account.

• At sign-up, players and creators alike check their age with go.cam, an age-check service. No document, photo or date of birth reaches Pecheca: we receive only the result and go.cam's reference for it. go.cam's own privacy notice covers what go.cam processes.
• Creators also verify their identity and age through Yoursafe ID, the identity check of Yoursafe, our payout provider, before their characters can go on sale, wherever they signed up from. We receive the result of the check, never the document or the photos.

A card payment is never treated as proof of age.

What we keep

The age gate keeps your answer in a cookie on your device for one year, and we keep no record of it. With your account we keep the date and time at which you confirmed that you are 18 or older, the place you signed up from ( a code such as US-TX for Texas ) and, once you pass an age check, that you were verified as 18 or older, when, by which service, and that service's reference for it. We never keep a photo, an identity document or a date of birth.

Where accounts cannot be created

The pages of this website open everywhere, behind the age gate. To decide where you are signing up from, our server looks up your IP address in a location database it holds itself, so the address is not sent to anyone for this, and the lookup keeps only the place. Your account itself keeps the IP address it was created from, as our Privacy Notice explains. Accounts cannot be created from these places, whose laws ask for an age check that Pecheca cannot offer yet:

• Florida, North Dakota, Ohio and Tennessee, in the United States;
• Australia;
• the countries of the European Union, except Germany.

Parents and filters

Every page of this website carries the RTA (Restricted To Adults) label, so that filtering tools can recognise the site and block it. If children use your device, use parental-control software, the content filters of your device or browser, or the filtering service of your internet provider.

Minors

If you believe that an account belongs to someone under 18, write to us through our contact form and tell us which account it is. An account that belongs to a minor is closed and its data deleted.
