Refund Policy

Summary

All purchases on Pecheca are final. Tokens and Pings are non-refundable and nontransferable, and they have no monetary value. We refund only in the cases this page describes, or where the law gives you a right to a refund. This policy follows sections 7 and 8 of our Terms of Use.

When we refund

We look into a purchase on request when:

• you were charged but the Tokens or Pings were not added to your account; or
• you were charged twice.

Beyond these cases, we may, at our sole discretion, choose to issue a refund under exceptional circumstances as deemed appropriate by us. Refunds are decided by our staff. Approval of one refund does not imply any obligation to approve future requests. All refunds are issued without admission of liability and may be subject to the limitations and policies of the original payment method used.

For payments made via credit or debit card, refund requests must be submitted within 120 days of the original transaction date, or the chargeback window specified by the applicable card network, whichever is shorter.

If we terminate your account following abuse of the service or a breach of the Terms of Use, you are not entitled to the refund of any unused credit, Tokens, Pings or in-game items.

How to ask

Write to us through our contact form, giving the e-mail address of your account, or, when you are signed in, open a ticket at the support desk of your account under the topic “Purchase”. Tell us the date, the item and the amount of the purchase as your Transactions page shows them, and what went wrong.

There is no way to refund a purchase yourself. A purchase that you started in the game and have not paid yet can be cancelled from the game, and a purchase that is not completed within ten minutes is cancelled with nothing charged.

What a refund does to your balance

• A package is refunded through our payment processor, to the payment method you used.
• When a package is refunded in full, the Tokens or Pings it added are taken off your balance. If you have already spent some of them, your balance goes down to zero and no lower.
• A purchase you made with Tokens is refunded in Tokens: the Tokens return to your balance, and the item you bought may be removed from your account.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer and the payment is charged back, the Tokens or Pings it bought are taken off your balance, in the same way as for a refund. We may suspend or terminate an account that disputes a valid charge. If something is wrong with a purchase, please contact us first.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits a right to a refund that mandatory consumer law gives you.

Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, as in the European Union and the United Kingdom, you ask us to supply the Tokens or Pings immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once they are added to your account.

Creator content

Characters, clips and offers published by independent creators are bought with Tokens. If we refund such a purchase, you receive Tokens, never money, and the creator's share of that sale can be taken off the creator's earnings.
